On our furniture hunts we search for mostly authentic, excellent condition pieces, including many finds by signature designers. These highly valued pieces are extraordinary in their original soft leathers, variety of fabrics, rich velvets, deep tones and fine wood finishes. We are a full service furniture gallery, where our owners include refinishing and restoration in furniture, collectibles and lighting repair. As any vintage collecting hobbiest knows, we occasionally find amazing pieces that are slightly damaged or in need of some extra love. We don’t pass these values up, when owning this piece of history and art is possible. Before being displayed, each piece is inspected for their character and beauty, but also possible damage and dings. Unique to Vintage Grind House, our owner will fix and repair each piece while keeping it’s authentic look. While some pieces are absolutely perfect in how they were created and do not need additional care or cleaning, for those pieces of home decor that in their normal wear and tear for the past 60 - 200 plus years may need some help. Any modifications are disclosed, down to a minor chip or piece of molding which has been replaced.
