Five years ago we were on HGTV and honestly... we had no idea what was coming next 😅

Since then? We expanded our Chicago store, opened a second location in Munster, Indiana, grew our design services, and grew our construction services.

Oh and baby #4 showed up that one was a surprise but we are COMPLETELY obsessed. No notes.

Joe says he’s never worked harder in his life. Meg says same but make it with a newborn on her hip 😉

The craziest part? If you asked us five years ago what we’d be doing today, we never would have imagined this.

And if you asked us where we’ll be five years from now... we probably still couldn’t tell you.
But we’re excited to find out.

In five years: 2 stores, 4 boys, hundreds of homes, thousands of furniture pieces, one TV show, and more answered prayers than we can count.

The best part? We’re just getting started. New projects, new dreams, things we cannot wait to show you 🤍

The most expensive thing you can buy is cheap furniture.

I know that sounds backwards. but hear me out.

That bargain sofa? you’ll replace it in two years. then replace it again. and again. meanwhile, someone who invested in quality is still sitting on the same couch and it looks better now than the day they bought it. 😍

Cheap furniture isn’t a deal. it’s a subscription you never signed up for.
Buy it once. Buy it right. Your future self will thank you. 🙌🤍

Ever fall in love with a piece... bring it home... and then realize it wasn’t quite right? 🙋‍♀️

We’ve all been there.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is that beautiful homes are absolutely built from pieces you love—but the magic happens when those pieces are part of a bigger plan.

That’s why designers often “finish” a room on paper before they finish it in real life.

In this week’s Meg’s Tuesday Tip, I’m sharing the simple question I ask before buying anything for my home and why it helps avoid costly mistakes, decorating regrets, and getting a little “junk drunk.” 😂

Father’s Day feels deeper this year.

Today, I can’t hug you, Dad. But I am so thankful for the legacy you left behind - a legacy of kindness, love, faith, care, and showing up for the people you loved.

We celebrate you differently this year, but we carry your love with us always. 🤍

And to Grandad (Joe’s dad), thank you for your love, your kind and generous heart, and the way you show up for our family. We love you so much and are so blessed to have you.

And to all the dads out there doing everything they can, showing up for their families, working hard, being the rock and the steady foundation of their homes - we see you. We admire you. We honor you.

And to the best dad of the year, Joe…

I could not be more grateful for you. You are an amazing husband and an incredible dad. I feel so blessed that we get to juggle this beautiful circus together haha.

Our four boys are beyond blessed to have you as an example of joy, dedication, compassion, faith, love, and hard work.

Weekly Scroll: The Skirt Effect 🤎

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but skirts are having a moment.
Not just in fashion… in homes.

On sofas, chairs, tables, and yes, even sinks.

And I kind of love it.

There’s something about a skirted piece that instantly makes a room feel softer. A little warmer. A little more lived in. Like the room doesn’t need to be so perfect to be beautiful.

It’s just a small detail, but sometimes those are the ones that change the whole feeling of a space.
Maybe that’s why we’re seeing it everywhere right now.

Homes are craving more layers, more texture, more personality… and the skirt just gets it.
