Today we were back in this iconic space prepping for paint throughout the entire unit — and it’s starting to feel like a true transformation is underway.

Fresh new fixtures going in, custom bar built-ins taking shape, and even the “unseen luxe” details like fancy toilet installs that make all the difference in a fully elevated finish.

Every layer brings us closer to blending historic architecture with modern, tailored living in one of Chicago’s most legendary addresses.

We’re kicking off a special series that takes you all the way back to where it truly began — Chicago’s iconic Gold Coast at 1200 N Lake Shore Drive. 🏙️💫

Before the luxe builds, the custom cabinetry, the magazine-worthy transformations… there were just two women, a vision, and a whole lot of determination. 💖🛠️
This first project lit the spark that became Two Girls and a Hammer.
