Industry standard which we follow is to apply two coats. I always advise the clients to be aware when covering or applying red pigment based paints. Those pigments tend to be difficult to cover not only in red, brown and yellow but even in beige and sandy colors. SW introduced the new product called Symmetry but even the highest level paint does not offer full coverage. Solution is either the primer or third coat.
