🍂 A beautiful die can completely change a card design!

For this fall card, I used the Botanical Expressions Die to create the intricate leafy opening, then surrounded it with warm autumn colors and layered sunflowers. I love how the opening gives the card such an unexpected look!

And because those beautiful die-cut leaves are delicate, I found a simple way to give the card front a little extra support. I’m sharing that tip along with all the measurements and instructions in my free PDF tutorial on the blog.

🍁 An easy fun fold + beautiful fall colors? Yes, please!

Today’s card is an A2 Z-fold featuring layered maple leaves, warm autumn colors, and lots of little details that give it dimension without making it difficult to create.

And this card has a bit of a story! My first version wasn’t bad at all, but something kept bothering me. One simple change made all the difference—and I’m sharing both versions in today’s post.

Would you believe this card folds completely flat for mailing? 🤯

I hadn't made a bendy card in quite a while, and this Bendy Shadow Box Card was too much fun to pass up! I used the beautiful Fern & Flora Bundle with Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper for an autumn-inspired card with lots of dimension.

The best part? As impressive as it looks standing up, it folds flat as a pancake for mailing!

I’m sharing all the measurements, instructions, and a few helpful tips on my blog—including the trick to getting that bendy band just right.

🌻 This card looks much harder than it is!

I pulled out the beautiful Radiant Sunflowers Bundle and Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper to make a Triple Point fun fold—and I had forgotten just how easy this fold is.

Apparently, I have reached the stage of grandparenthood where I know exactly which child I'm picking up from kindergarten...I just can't remember his name. 😂
Poor Noah. I keep telling the school I'm there for his DAD, Adam!

Thankfully, I had a little more success in the craft room. My August Paper Pumpkin kit showed up before I'd even touched July's, so that was my sign to get busy!
I made two completely different cards—a pretty floral wreath and a monochromatic easel card with LOTS of texture.

Have you ever gone shopping in your own craft room? 😂

That's exactly what happened when I rediscovered the Heirloom Arrangements Kit during my recent stash cleanout. I had only used it once, but those beautiful butterflies deserved another chance!

When I saw that this month’s Blog Hop theme was “Animal House,” I knew I wanted to play with the adorable animals in the Christmas Crew stamp set. But why should these little guys have all the fun at Christmas? I decided to make a Christmas card first, then see if I could stretch those same adorable images into something completely different. And that’s how a Christmas bear ended up on a birthday card!

Guess what? My new preorder arrived Wednesday, and I couldn’t resist playing with the beautiful Sunflower Fields Suite! 🌻

I had a completely different card planned for today’s Creative Creases challenge, but these new goodies won. 😂

I gave myself a little challenge...

Normally, distressing means just the edges of my Designer Series Paper or cardstock. But this time, I wondered if I could create a card where the distressed look was the focal point on the card. 😊

The beautiful Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper with the Everyday Arches Dies was the perfect time to try it out,and everything started coming together. Then I added the sweetest butterflies and discovered a little trick for lining up the coordinating punch that made the project even easier!

Have you ever gone looking for one thing in your craft room and discovered something you'd completely forgotten?

That's exactly what happened to me this weekend! While organizing my supplies, I rediscovered a kit that reminded me why I fell in love with those beautiful garden gates in the first place. 🌸

I ended up creating three cards and even found a fun new way to stretch the kit by using the card bases differently.
