Happy September everyone! 🍂✨ September is always a busy month for us and this year we have some fun events coming up!

First, we are excited to return for this year’s Lake Forest Iws Antiques & Treasures market on September 13th! Join us along with 50+ vintage & antiques vendors selling one of a kind vintage fashion, accessories & home decor items. Proceeds from the entrance fee go directly to the Infant Welfare Society Lake Forest chapter! Mark your calendars & stop by to shop for a good cause at the East Lake Forest Train Station (691 N. Western in Lake Forest, IL) from 9-4!

At the end of the month we’ll be returning to the West Loop for Randolph Street Market on September 26th & 27th! We’ll be bringing along a fresh selection of fall fashions & accessories for you to shop! Visit us INSIDE the Plumber’s Hall (1341 W. Randolph Street) upstairs the main ballroom from 10-5 each day!

A special estate find. 💚

When I spotted this jacket in the pictures of an upcoming estate sale, I was hoping that I would be the one who was lucky enough to get it. My parents were both Chicago Public Schools teachers for many years. My father attended Chicago Teachers College in the 1950s…at the same time this jacket was worn by the students there. I was so happy I was able to get this jacket as it is a remembrance of him.

Today at Andersonville Chamber Vintage Market, my friend Dahlia Klein surprised me with the matching C patch for the other pocket of the jacket! She had found the patch at the same estate sale the jacket was at! Thank you so much for this special gift, Dahlia! I will cherish it along with the jacket! ❤️✨
