With over 34 entries on display, #19, ANITA MOYDEL'S beautiful Starburst Block, was our GRADY County OHCE Celebration of Crafts Show Quilt Block Challenge winner!! Congratulations, Anita! You never cease to amaze us with your sewing talents!!!

(All the incredible blocks from our challenge will become Veteran's Quilts before October of 2025. Monies earned from the $10 sale of the fabrics to create the blocks and from challenge voting goes into the making of our Veteran's Quilts for the following year.) Thank you to QUILTS BY GAIL for her support and donation of fabrics, all who created these wonderful blocks and all of you who voted!!

Carol Crick was the raffle winner for the Tri-City Candlelighters OHCE Grady County drawing done at The GRADY County OHCE Celebration of Crafts Show! Carol was so excited to win the queen sized quilt valued at over $500! This beautiful quilt was made and donated by Grady County OHCE Vice President, Vickie Taylor. Vickie is also VP of the new group, Tri-City Candlelighters! Congratulations, Carol! May the warmth of this quilt provide you with a lifetime of joy and happiness!!

The Tri-City Candlelighters OHCE Grady County drew for the raffle winner of this beautiful art piece created and donated by Something Special by Sandra Burke. The winner, Jeff Widig, owner of Tritan Foundations, was happy to receive his fluid art. Congratulations, Jeff!

BEST "OTHER" QUILT CATAGORY was won by Dee Dee Wohler, who also won Best In Show!! This quilt, "Farm Girl Vintage", is a Lori Holt pattern in which Dee Dee has personalized it with favorite ball teams and other items about her life. Beth's Quilting Quarters, Fabric Shoppe sponsored this large catagory of quilts. Congratulations again, Dee Dee! You are quite the Quilting talent!!
