Reese's senior portrait session concluded her mama's "collection". I have photographed her siblings for their big milestone as well. I look forward to watching these kiddo's continue to thrive in their lives! Maybe one day they can come visit me by the beach. ❤

Reese was so fun to photograph. I loved her style and she is drop dead gorgeous so she made my job easy! I know she is going to have a wonderful year! ❤

I am so thankful we photographed Kasey before our move! His senior portrait session was perfection! His album is going to be EPIC!

This is one of my favorite portraits from the session. Columbus has so many amazing portrait opportunities. I am going to miss having the city near by. ❤

I wish all the best of luck to Kasey as he enters into his senior year. I hope he makes the best memories and I know his future is going to be wonderful!

Sharing this portrait of Kasey on Father's Day Sunday.

This portrait is special because Kasey shares his love of cars with his father. It creates a special bond and I am sure many memories that will last forever.

I can't wait to see this portrait as framed and finished artwork! Maybe one day, if Kasey decides to become a father, he can share this with his own children. This artwork is meant to honor now...but it is also meant to be a window in time for generations to come. ❤

A family worth celebrating. 🤍

The truth is, family portrait sessions are HARD. Hard to decide what to wear. Hard to get everyone on board. Hard to get everyone ready and out the door on time. Hard to hold your pose while the photographer tends to someone else. Hard to make sure everyone's expressions look good. Hard to narrow down your favorites (when you choose the right portrait artist 😉). Hard to select your wall art.

Lots of HARD. And chaotic at times...

More truth... Family portraits are NOT my favorite to photograph. For all the reasons above and more.

HOWEVER.

I BELIEVE they are important. I believe they will become TREASURES . Enjoyed now and more valuable as each year passes. I believe they are WORTH every bit of the hard.

I BELIEVE the portraits we create should connect to who you are. Whether it is a more casual everyday version of you or a custom styled upscale version. Everyone wants to look good and be remembered well. I love all types of styles. Whether a moody spooky vibe set in a dark scene, or a clean black and white that is crisp and polished, or a portrait like this that is lovely and soft and vibrant. There is NO wrong way to style... just preference. I can guide you in decisions to make sure the outcome of your portrait is exactly what you hoped for and more.
