Show day is here at the Grand Highland Hotel in downtown Prescott. I’ve brought a fresh brick‑pattern end‑grain cutting board, built from maple and sapele and sized at 17.5 × 13.5 × 1.5 inches. Brass‑colored feet give it a clean lift and a nice touch of detail. Stop by between 10 and 4 to see it in person.

Tomorrow’s the day! Kick off Labor Day weekend at the Prescott Pop Up Market at the Grand Highland Hotel. We’re open 10–4, with tons to see and do. Come hang out and start your weekend right.

I just wrapped up a fresh basket‑weave end‑grain cutting board, built from walnut and maple and sized at 15 × 11 × 1.25 inches. I’ll have it on display this Saturday at the Grand Highland Hotel in Prescott, AZ, 10–4. Can’t wait to share it with you.

A couple days ago, when that thunderstorm hit, this is what the bridge that we take to leave from our house, looked like. We hardly ever see water in this wash. This was crazy! Thanks for Michelle DeVore for taking this video. You can see why we need the Ark!

We had some very crazy monsoon thunderstorms around our area the last couple of days with many roads flooded and blocked off. I saw a post on Facebook and modified it to have my picture on it (with permission - thank you Preskitt!). I thought it was great!

We always love returning to the Prescott Farmer’s Market! It’s such a wonderful venue — full of fresh produce, delicious food, live music, and handcrafted goods from local makers. The market kicks off at 7:30 AM, so you can enjoy the morning before the heat sets in. We’ll be at 900 Iron Springs Rd., Prescott, AZ, and we can’t wait to see you there!
