My life is definitely not the same, I don't get to work on my woodworking as much as I did before Koa but my life is so much better with him in it.

Kids truly teach you what love is.

Making the most of my time here at home. Helping people stay creative and stay active.

We are all in this together. I have been going out for walks everyday and I can see a true difference in people. It is amazing. Usually when I walk people barely say hi. Right now you go walking and everyone out is smiling and happy, wave hello and stay 6 feet away. It is a breath of fresh air to look at the positives.

I have something to turn that quarantine grown upside down!
Your sign is ready!

We used to have a prayer we grew up saying at my grandparents home before family dinners.

A few years ago I made my immediate family signs with the prayer written on it for Christmas.

Recently we were at my parents house and another family member requested one to be made, but with the dogs and cats line added. I absolutely love that I am able to create custom pieces for my customers homes.

After a lot of thought and consideration I have decided to cancel Saturdays workshop. This decision was not easy but I feel that for the protection and health of my family and the attendees it is the best thing to do at this point.

If you have registered for this workshop please let me know if you would like me to complete the craft for you or if you would prefer a refund.

Today is a day about women empowerment and although I am not usually one to post about this type of thing I feel it necessary to mention my appreciation for these strong women in my life and how much they have helped make me who I am today!

My mother - oh my gosh I don't even know where to start. I know we all think our moms are amazing but I'm sorry my mom takes the cake! She raised 5 kids, and she did it well!!! She runs a home daycare and just that right there deserves an award cause I know I sure could not do it with the grace and patience that she does. And lastly my mom is always there to lift me up when I am down, laugh with me, or just get mad with me. 😂 she's is everything a mom should be.

- Diana and Ari have to be the most positive people I know. They are always here to support me and push me. They are inspiring in all that they do. They make the unreachable seem possible.

- Jamie!! By BFF for life. We are about as opposite as they come. I mean except we are both blonde. 😂 She is always there for help me, support me, and here to tell me the truth, even if it is not what I want to hear. She inspires me with her career and all that she continues to succeed at in life.

- Madisen amazes me with her personality and demeanor daily. Her uplifting spirit makes me laugh and smile whenever we speak. Although we joke about if anyone heard our conversation what they would think...we believe you would be on the floor laughing right beside us.

- Lizzy from is a mom I met through my woodworking business. She continues to amaze me with her attitude, her skills in the workshop blow my mind every post, our conversations and how we can relate to our similar mom struggles have helped me more then you know! Give her a follow. She makes AMAZINGNESS with her scroll saw with Ms. Crew by her side!

Just absolutely amazed with how this came out and umm...not it mention our grass looks amazing as well.

I would be lying if I said I was not slightly nervous when accepting this order. I had not done a jigsaw cutout in well over a year since taking my break and it needed to be done within the week, so I mean I have one shot at it. And this is the longest single word cutout I have completed. Nine letters people...nine letters. One if the challenges of these cutouts is that while doing it, it is very easy for pieces to get too much weight or tension and snap until it is completely cut and separated from the full piece of wood. But it worked and I am like what else can I cut out...🤞someone order another one...it's so exciting to cut and to then see the finished product!

Thank you Gen for your order! Now I am back to being addicted to my jigsaw cuts. 🥰

Just day dreaming about my workshop days with my boy. Mark my words now, one day this will be much more of Koa and I's life. We are determined.

Everything is so much more fun with him, well except sleeping, sleeping is not more fun with Koa. I could definitely go back to pre Koa sleep. But you see that smile, hear that laugh, look at those crazy blue eyes and who needs sleep. 🥰😂

In honor of an upcoming order this weekend I figured I would move up this little beauty!

It's amazing what you can do once you decide to let the fear go. Before I started my business, I would not touch a saw, I mean I barely touched a screw driver. My sister, had to help me with anything. She was the handy one. And being creative, forget about it. I never did anything creative. My mom and sister could and can do anything they want to, make anything, paint anything, sew anything. I couldn't tie a bow!

But then, I was getting married and needed something a little more in life besides my daytime job and I dropped the fear and ran with it. I still amaze myself from where I started.

Instead of wedding Wednesday I think workshop Wendesday should be a thing.

These workshops have been so fun for me. The Easter Workshop on March 21st will be my 4th round. It has been so fun to see old friends, make new friends and see everyone enjoy and customize my crafts! I am so happy that everyone is enjoying them as much as I had hoped.
