Cowboy Stories; Part 3 🐴🤠

This one tells the story of grit and connection— a cowboy holding steady while his horse kicks up the dust. The clash of strength and trust was really cool to capture by paint!

1 of 3 of the custom pieces created for headquarter’s remodel, designed by .

Like the others, I kept the brushstrokes loose and layered in the background, softening the desert tones so the energy of the horse takes center stage. That deep, dark figure against the muted landscape gives the movement its weight.

The final piece in this trio, looking forward to sharing more of the BTS!

Cowboy stories; Part 2 🤠

Created as part of a 3-piece custom collection for headquarters.

This project was all about telling the stories of the working cowboy— Each piece had to connect: cohesive in style, depth of color, and painted in loose, impressionistic layers.

I love all three of these works, but this one has my heart. The way your eye moves through the layers, the suggestive cattle pulled from just a few intentional marks, the open country, the color palette that ties the whole collection together… it might be one I’ll have to print for myself.

A moment on the range, painted in an intentionally loose, impressionistic style, every brushstroke leaves space for your version of his story. What’s he thinking? Where’s he headed?

Rolled up and headed somewhere I’ve been dying to tell you about…

Earlier this year, I wrapped up a project that checked every single box for me—western aesthetic, story telling, loose brush strokes and on a scale that still makes me want to pinch myself. 🤏🏼

It’s been months since these paintings left my hands, and this week, I finally get to tell you where they landed!!

❤️ BIG thank you .creative

Every salon needs a queen—and Margie’s been holding the crown for decades. 👑

From the start, we knew this collection needed an icon—and Margie was it. The matriarch, the queen, the heart of a generational salon legacy alongside her husband. Their story is woven into the space, and now, into its walls.

We pulled from old photos and newspaper clippings, aiming for that oldies-meets-modern vibe—deep moody turquoise to match the salon’s richness, a bronze frame to tie into their existing art, and her vintage style brought to life with a fresh twist. Every detail was considered with their space, style, and story in mind—a process I love when working with clients.

Commercial art like this becomes more than décor—it’s the anchor, the conversation starter, the piece that makes a space feel like them.

✨ What’s the one iconic person you’d put on your wall? 👑 Tell me in the comments—I’m curious!

Hi, it’s me! 👋🏼 Just over here squeezing every last drop out of summer and pretending time doesn’t exist.

It’s been a mix of chaos and quiet— intentionally soaking in the long beautiful days with my boys, dirt under our nails, a little travel, early morning sketching, chasing chickens (literally), and stealing moments in the studio when I can. 🐓

I’ve been moving slower, not sharing much, but still creating. Honestly, it’s felt really good to step back a bit— but I’ve missed being here, connecting and sharing more of what’s been happening behind the scenes—some special commissions, some play, and soon, a few new originals I’m carving out time for.

So here I am—no big announcement, just popping back in to say hi and thank you. For sticking around, for supporting my art, and for making this space feel like one I can always return to 🤍

How many half-finished pieces is too many? … asking for a friend. 🙃

👆🏼these two actually just live proudly in my home waiting for my creative bursts and courage to alter their current unhinged state. Will they ever be finished? Unsure… or maybe they are finished? 🤔

✨ Fun fact: I never signed my paintings back in the day because I never thought they were fully complete, or I could still add “something” more… so here we are 15 years later still rocking an inventory of paintings in limbo.

“Shadow” 🦬

The result of messing around with new colors, loose techniques, zero planning & not overthinking—just letting the paintbrush lead. No deep meaning to this one, yet I love that it still makes you feel something. Anyone else?

Message me if it feels like this moody, bold bison should live on your wall.

Lately, life’s been full in the best ways—traveling with my crew, wrapping up some deeply meaningful comissioned pieces, and letting new ideas stir for a fresh collection with the goal of stretching my skillset playing with new techniques and color theory, and mostly having originals on hand!! What type of paintings do you want to see more of!???

I’m getting so eager to show you these customs from the most recent project these past few months, currently under install. These pieces have carried so much of my heart—can’t wait to start sharing more! 🤠
