"WOVEN FUTURES, UNBOUND PATTERNS: CONTEMPORARY DINÉ WEAVING"

WHat a "Sunday Drive"! I got to the market in late morning. I immediately noticed a lack of participation and public attendance. I walked the plaza and NE portion of the market. I left early to attend the ICA's exhibition panel discussion by artistic Navajo weavers. It was great! It highlighted five top Navajo fiber artists. The artists discussed their processes, and challenges. Interestingly, my late aunt, Vera Myers', dye chart was included in the exhibition. It was beautiful.

Afterwards, I continued at SWAIA. by the time I got back artists were already packing up. Some weavers did great!
