Transformation Tuesday! ✨
Let me just say how much fun I had in Arizona! It was such a pleasure helping my longtime friend and client turn her new house into a home that truly feels like them.
We’re starting with the laundry room! I think laundry rooms and mudrooms are often overlooked, but they’re actually such important spaces. When you enter your home through the garage, this becomes your everyday entryway—so why shouldn’t it have a little personality and character?
Rika and Ike’s laundry room started out feeling a little sterile and still had some of the artwork and furniture left from the real estate staging. I noticed they had brought along some floating shelves and colorful artwork from their previous home, and I knew I wanted to incorporate those pieces.
First, we purchased a wood top to install on top of the white dresser that I stained, second we found the coolest drawer pulls and installed them on the drawers and then I created a fun gallery wall with their collection of small, colorful artwork, styled the shelves, and gave the room a much warmer, happier feel. Now it feels personal, welcoming, and most importantly—like Rika and Ike. 💙
And this is just the beginning of their Arizona transformation!
