Beef, Carrot & Oat Dog Meatballs

Cook Time: 20–25 minutes
Ingredients:
* 450 g (1 lb) lean ground beef
* 90 g (1 cup) rolled oats
* 80 g (1/2 cup) carrot, finely grated
* 60 g (1/4 cup) plain pumpkin purée (unsweetened)
* 1 large egg
* 30 g (1/4 cup) green beans, finely chopped
* 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
* 30–45 ml (2–3 tablespoons) water, as needed
Supplements:
* 10 g (1 tablespoon) ground flaxseed meal
* 5 g (2 teaspoons) chia seeds
* 1 ml (1/4 teaspoon) fish oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Combine the ground beef, oats, carrot, pumpkin, egg, green beans, flaxseed, and chia seeds in a bowl.
3. Mix in the olive oil and fish oil. Add a little water only if the mixture seems too dry.
4. Form into approximately 24 small meatballs, sized appropriately for your dog.
5. Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until completely cooked through and the centers reach at least 71°C (160°F).
6. Drain any excess fat and allow the meatballs to cool completely before serving.
Storage:
Store cooked meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and serve chilled or gently warmed—never hot.
