Another day in the life of a florist in Newtown, and it’s been a minute since I’ve shared one of these.

This was one of those days where delivery and prep just kept rolling into the next thing. Busy from the start, but getting an early start meant getting it all done early too, which felt pretty great.

And the best part? I actually got to close out the day at UP THERE celebrating a friend’s birthday. A full day of flowers, followed by a little fun. Not a bad way to end a busy day!

Sunday afternoon, after delivering for one event and prepping for another the next day, I got a text from one of my VIP clients asking if I could create flowers for an impromptu engagement dinner that evening.

I had about an hour to pull these together, but honestly, it was a pleasure. Getting to create flowers for such a special moment, even on the fly, is one of the parts of what I do that I love most.
