Artichoke Artichoke is a carefully curated cookware collection at historic Findlay Market in the heart of Cincy But in addition, we focus on customer service.

Brad and Karen Hughes opened Artichoke, a curated cookware collection, April 2, 2016 in their renovated Italianate OTR building at 1824 Elm Street, adjacent to the historic Findlay Market. In October 2021, they passed the torch to Hannah and Tom Bender, who bring years of experience working in family businesses at Findlay Market, and are continuing to bring the Artichoke vision to life. is your go-to place for the best in cookware and everything else you need in your kitchen. We have created a “curated cookware collection” with a focus on cookware that is well-designed and finely crafted. We focus on US, European, and Japanese made cookware and cutlery, with lines including gorgeous French cookware such as Cristel, Staub, and Emile Henry, German cookware and cutlery from Zwilling and Wustof, British ceramics from Mason Cash, knives from Japanese makers Kikuichi and Miyabi, and beautiful French linens from Garnier-Thiebaut. We have everything from the basic essential gadget to that special pan you can’t find anywhere else. We can help you understand how to use your new cookware, what works best for what’s fresh at the market, and we will always stand by our products. Artichoke has a demo kitchen that allows us to show you how to use our products and take advantage of what’s in season at the market. We can help you learn to cook things you might otherwise feel reluctant to try. Our Cooking School offers 1 hour demonstration classes on everything from making fresh pasta to how to cook fresh fish, as well as classes on new craft spirits such as Bourbon and gin.

Ready to begin your sourdough journey? Join home baker Bethany for a beginner-friendly introduction to creating, maintaining, and baking with a sourdough starter. She'll cover the essentials of feeding, caring for, and baking with your starter while sharing practical tips to help you bake with confidence at home. Each guest will leave with their own active sourdough starter, ready to begin baking. Come curious, ask questions, and discover just how approachable homemade sourdough can be.

TOMORROW BEGINS our End of Summer Basement Sale!!

We're continuing our celebration of 10 years by featuring markdowns, scratch and dent items, samples, and lightly used or imperfect pieces. Our goal? Keeping these treasures out of landfills and giving them a second life at unbeatable prices.

We'll be having our sale on the sidewalk in front of our store and will feature markdowns from both our cooking/prepping and tabletop/serveware stores!
