If you've wandered up and down Foothill Blvd wondering whether we moved, closed, or cloned ourselves — good news, it's none of the above. We just grew.
Common Thread Claremont (218 W Foothill Blvd) is still exactly where it's always been — the sewing studio, humming with classes, six amazing teachers, and over a decade of local sewists learning their craft. Classes are running. We are very much open.
Common Thread Fabric & Supply Co. (228 W Foothill Blvd) is the new fabric-and-notions shop, just 50 steps away — literally next door. This is where you'll find our curated fabric collection, notions, and all the good stuff to feed whatever you're working on, whether you learned to sew with us or somewhere else entirely.
Think of it as one Common Thread, two yellow doors. Take a class at 218, then walk next door to 228 and shop the fabric wall. Or start at the shop, fall in love with a print, and wander over to sign up for a class to actually learn what to do with it.
Same thread. Same block. Just twice the reasons to stop by.
