One last POP of summer! ❤️🤍💥

Labor Day weekend calls for all the good stuff — backyard picnics, fireworks, cold drinks, late summer nights and squeezing every last bit of fun out of the season.

Went in to play a little today.

Sometimes the best part of having an antique shop is going in when we’re closed and just moving things around until they feel right.

This little corner of the camper got some attention today—old textiles, faded florals, and those perfectly imperfect colors I love.

Slowly settling Pierre into fall.

You never know what’s hiding in storage… 👀

Today we started unrolling rugs that have been tucked away for nearly 10 years, and this beauty was one of the first ones out.

The colors. The pattern. The condition. 😍 And then we found the old tag still attached — $6,893!

Needless to say, that made us look a little closer. 😂

She’s finally seeing daylight again and will be available at Pierre Chickadee after a little freshening up.

And this is only the beginning… we have a LOT more rugs to unroll.

POV: you own an antique shop and go on vacation… so naturally you spend the whole trip taking pictures of the furniture.

Universal understood the assignment. 👏

Pierre Chickadee is still closed for vacation, but clearly the vintage inspiration never takes a day off.

Pierre Chickadee is taking a little summer break.

We’ll be closed this week while we sneak away for some family vacation time, and next weekend we’ll be hosting a family basketball tournament.

A little time to soak up the last bits of summer before we head into our favorite season…

SOLD! Off to the Sunshine state!
This sweet vintage flour canister has found its new home all the way in Florida.

One of my favorite parts of owning Pierre Chickadee is knowing these well-loved pieces get a second life in homes where they’ll be appreciated again. Thank you for giving this beautiful canister its next chapter!

Wishing it safe travels and many more years in a new kitchen.
