We finally got back on the bbq trail this past weekend at the PACT- Promoting Appanoose & Centerville Together 5th Annual BBQ & Brew in Centerville, IA. Friday we got to hang out with friends we hadn’t seen in a while and had an awesome supper and dessert! Saturday we had an overall decent cook, Luc keeps saying it went a little too smooth..🤪
Here’s how we did..

Chicken 🐔: 4th Place
Ribs 🍖: 5th Place
Pork🐷: 1st Place
Brisket 🐮: 6th Place

Overall: Grand Champion🏆

We headed back to Altoona for the 2nd Annual East Gate Lodge #630 BBQ Cook Off! D.J. and his crew once again did an awesome job setting this up. We had a great time getting to try a couple new recipes and following up on some side bets we had with friends. Here’s how to did…

Friday night steak🥩: 3rd out of 10 teams
Chicken🐔: 8th Place
Ribs🍖: 4th Place (wild child🤑)
Pork🐷: 13th Place
Overall: 5th Place out of 24 teams

Next up Luc and Drake will head to Minnesota in May in a couple weeks.
