Our favorite time of year has officially arrived at Sweet Sassafras Shed! 🤎

There’s just something about fall—the cooler mornings, changing leaves, cozy evenings, pumpkins on the porch, and a simmer pot filling the house with the scents of the season. 🍎🍊✨

We’ve been busy drying, mixing and creating our fall simmer pots, with all those warm, cozy scents that make your home feel like autumn.

September is here and we’re ready for all things cozy, spicy & fall! 🍁

🐝 The Bee’s Knees 🌸

The dahlias keep blooming and the bees have definitely noticed! A little garden magic happening right outside our door. Loved taking this photo 💕🐝

🌸 A Little Garden Magic — Gomphrena 🌸

Some flowers are just as beautiful after summer as they are in the garden… and gomphrena is one of them. 💕

These sweet little globe-shaped blooms bring pops of color to the garden all summer long, but what I really love is how beautifully they dry.

I’m already imagining them tucked into:
🌿 dried bouquets
🌸 little wreaths
🎀 fall crafts
💐 arrangements with lavender and other garden treasures

There’s something special about growing flowers now that we can enjoy long after the garden season has passed.

I think gomphrena may just earn a permanent spot in the Sweet Sassafras garden. 🌸🌿
