Brian Schafer joined a group of industry leaders for a conversation on “The AI Resource Equation: Power, Water, and Community Impact,” sharing his perspective on the resources powering the rapid growth of AI and data center development and what that growth means for the communities around them.

We're proud to share that John Durdan, Associate Principal at Highland Associates, recently presented at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo alongside the University of Maryland Medical System and HKS project team.

The presentation highlighted Highland Associates' geothermal design for Shore Regional Medical Center, one of the largest all-electric, geothermal hospitals in the United States, that demonstrates how healthcare facilities can reduce energy use, eliminate on-site greenhouse gas emissions, and advance sustainability initiatives.
