Howdy folks, got the guy finished from the track last night, I put some details and a touch of paint. And I found another one unfinished in the bag we take to the track with us. So I finished him too! My wife asked me to do one thats c**k eyed! Lol so here it is.
If you are a wood carver and you haven't carved cottonwood bark, do yourself a favor and give it a try!
I have carved a lot larger pieces of bark, but you can cut them into smaller pieces and get more bang for your buck!
Hope you like these carving I have been doing in bark. :)

He seemed to really like it!
He said his father used to carve. I love the looks on their faces when I give it to them! It makes it all worth while! :)
