Back-to-School Block Party and Resource Fair
Kenwood Elementary
Join us for a Back-to-School Bash and Resource Fair on Saturday, July 22, 2023. This FREE event will be held at Kenwood Elementary (1101 Peachers Mill Road) from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Families with children of all ages can enjoy food and drinks, games, family activities, and giveaways from community vendors. Families may also receive school supplies during the event!
THE DETAILS
When: Saturday, July 22, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Kenwood Elementary (1101 Peachers Mill Rd.)
Cost: This is a FREE event
Children of all ages can enjoy inflatable bounce houses, interactive games, and obstacle course competitions. Be sure you enter to win prizes, including:

The City Forum
The Pottery Room
Outback Steakhouse
Bluegrass Splash
Community partners will be on-site to provide resources and support to families as we enter the 2023-2024 school year.
This event is hosted by the CMCSS Families in Transition Team (FIT team) and Community Partners.
What is FIT?
The Families in Transition Office coordinates various services across the district to remove barriers and provide support to students experiencing homelessness.

It's hard to believe we are already thinking about Back to School season! Join us on August 5 from 10-12 for a Back to School Bash. We will have food, inflatables, and games. We will also be giving out backpacks and school supplies.

2023 Walnut Grove Back to School Supply & Clothing Give-A-Way
Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church
On August 6th, 2023 we plan to be a blessing to as many families local as possible.
We will provide school supplies to many families in our communities. We want to decrease the stress that moms, dads, & guardians experience each year around this time by offsetting the high cost of school supplies.
Our youth are so important. Therefore, we enjoy doing anything that will promote their success. It is equally important that we continue to provide support, fun, guidance, assistance, activities, scholarships, and school supplies 😀 whenever we can.
Please join Pastor Carl E. Livingston, the leadership team, and the members of Walnut grove in making this happen by sharing this event with anyone with school-aged children.

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH

This years BIGGEST back to school bash presented by Enhanced By Queen & Maranda’s 24HR Bail Bonds. We are gearing up early to be able to provide our community with 1000 FREE BACKPACKS with school supplies, food, giveaways and so much more!
This event is going to be HUGE and we would love to have the support from our community. If you’d like to sponsor or donate towards the event please use the contact info provided above.
