Thank you to EVERYONE who came out and spent the evening with us! We loved seeing the marketplace full of people shopping, sipping, chatting, and discovering new favorites around every corner.

Oh, Dolly.

We miss you already.

Every morning at 9 a.m., when we turn the speakers on at the Marketplace, "9 to 5" is the first song that plays. It's been that way for years. Long before it was a tradition, it just felt right, and somewhere along the way it became one of the things that makes this place feel like this place.

We hold so much love for Dolly in our hearts, and we know so many of you do too. She was one of the kindest, most beautiful souls this world has ever known, and she gave so much of herself to the state we're proud to call home. She showed us that you can be powerful and still be soft. Strong and still be sparkly.

In her honor, we'll be lowering our flags to half staff this week. Not just for who she was, but for everything she leaves behind: the songs, the generosity, the millions of children who grew up with a book in their hands because of her, and the reminder that kindness and success were never in competition.

Thank you, Dolly, for leaving this world softer and brighter than you found it. May we all find a little more Dolly in ourselves.
