UP & BACC Farm is a small scale farm providing high quality meat, vegetables and herbs to the local Clarksville, Tennessee and surrounding communities. We complete this through the ethical and environmental actions that will foster positive stewardship on our land, the animals on it, products produced on it which will ultimately improve the health and wellness of the individuals consuming our pro

ducts. Our business started with the simple phrase; How do we make the land work for us rather than us just sitting on the land. This phrase was presented about 3 years ago in a simple conversation about the future. In June, 2024 Daniele was at a local farm talking to another farmer about how they got started. Since then it has been a journey of discovery and learning. Since June, 2024 we have been connected with the Montgomery county water and conservation department which led us to the UT extension which set us up with a local mentor and we continue to grow and expand. The greatest treasure we have experienced to this point has been the warmth and sincerity that we have encountered through many of the fellow ranchers/farmers and organizations has been their willingness to help. Our greatest challenge has been finding the organizations to get in touch with and navigating the constant barrage of government bureaucracy.

Friday nights are pretty crazy here on the farm. Bush hogging, weeding, chicken dealings after dark and dinner out!

Thank goodness for a kiddo that helps around the farm as well as wanting to help with videos. You will definitely start to see more of this kiddo when I can get him to do a video for me. Thank you to my men for the support they give me (regardless of how frustrated they make me) I could not do it without them!

We need to find a way to spray our calves with fly spray without having them be afraid of us as well as making it fun for us! So water guns it is!

Building for birds! Meat birds and new egg layers have arrived and in 7 days will find themselves outside until they move to permanent homes!

We are absolutely blessed to have to desire, knowledge and capability of growing our little farm. In 8-12 weeks we will have 26 new freezer camp birds. We will have 4 new egg layers in about 16 weeks. The hard part of this is now figuring out who of my egg layers needs to head to freezer camp.

Moving cows, preg checking cows, working cows, etc… Good news they are on the other side with fresh grass! We officially know that we will have three new calves come fall!

Birthday UTV ride in the Sonoran desert. It was hot! It was dusty! It is was the perfect way to start my 48th year on earth! Here is to a great year!
