Three Pink Elephants

Three Pink Elephants A thoughtfully curated boutique inspired by sisterhood, creativity, and the joy of discovering something a little unexpected. Located in Clay Center, NE.

A place to sip and shop, featuring floral artistry, Nebraska-made goods, fine wines and spirits. We are currently in our very early stages of startup so this site will be under construction for a bit - however, here is a little bit about our plan!

Three Pink Elephants is a concept that goes beyond the petals, beyond the bouquets—it's where floral artistry meets community passion.

Picture

a vibrant space, not echoing with the clinking of glasses, but alive with the delicate rustle of petals. It’s not your typical floral shop; it's a botanical experience, a twist on the classic bar concept. Instead of spirits, we're serving up the beauty of fresh flowers and a unique blend of services extending beyond traditional floral offerings.

Just one moment of your time, for those who have none left.

Memorial Day began after the Civil War, when communities across the United States started holding ceremonies to honor soldiers who had died in battle.

Originally, it was called Decoration Day because families and communities would decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers, flags, and wreaths.

One of the earliest large observances happened in 1868, when General John A. Logan of the Grand Army of the Republic declared May 30 as a national day of remembrance for Union soldiers killed in the Civil War.

Over time, the holiday expanded to honor all American military personnel who died in service to the country.

It is a day to remember the men and women who never made it home.

Please take time from your weekend - whether it is attending a local service such as the one in the Clay Center cemetery Monday at 10:30 am...
..or by simply pausing your activities for one full minute for the National Moment of Remembrance at 3:00 pm Monday.

As a veteran, it is an honor to take part in this year’s memorial service and stand alongside our community in remembrance of those who sacrificed everything for this country.

I hope to see you there.

Headline: “Local Business Owner Finally Snaps and Lives Inside a Hollow Tree”

Can you see it? Because I can. That’s about where I’m at right now.

I’ve been going non-stop and while I truly love every minute of living out my wild imagination and making my hot pink dreams come true… I need to rest.

So the shop will be CLOSED May 25th–29th for a much-needed reset, some store repairs/reorganizing, and who knows… maybe even a facial. I vaguely remember facials. And hair stylists. (I stare wistfully into the distance.)

How did this come about, you ask?

Well. Let me tell you.

Actually… no. I’m not going to tell you the whole thing. No one needs to hear about me hanging out the Jeep window Ace Ventura-style in a road rage incident.

No one wants to see the security footage of me overturning a restaurant table because no one complimented my awesome red high heels.

And certainly no one wants to see the body cam footage from poor Sheriff Franklin after he was sent to coax me out of the store dumpster after what my lawyer would call an “alleged” fist fight with a raccoon over a banana.

No. You are better than that. You don’t need, nay, WANT those details.

Honestly, the real wake-up call was my recent merchandise ordering decisions. As hilarious and wildly appropriate as they were, they may also have been a sign that I’m a little tired.

🔥 Desk dumpster fires
🖊️ Snarky pens (Yes, Taylor! I DID girl boss too close to the sun!)
🍬 Dumpster fire candies
😳 Tiny middle finger candy.

…and y’all? They are SELLING.

So judging by your shopping habits, many of y’all are one minor inconvenience away from wandering into the woods to locate your own hollow tree.

You know what? It makes me think of Mr. Rogers asking the question, “Won’t you be my neighbor?”

And I say, “Hell yes. Pull up the hollow tree next to mine. Let’s eat candy, drink wine, and take a nap. But I am warning you, keep an eye out for that damn dumpster raccoon - he’s stronger than he looks.”

So before I begin communicating exclusively through novelty candy, Bitch Grenache Wine (not even the Bitch Bubbly Sparkling Wine), and increasingly feral behavior… I’m taking a little time for myself.

Sunday was a lovely day playing with flowers at the Three Pink Elephants Eras Tour workshop. This was the second in the series and these gals were fearless...and so was the keepsake this month! "Fearless" linen spray from ELEVEN//Three out of Omaha. So perfect.

I think one of my favorite parts of these events is the reaction when I tell people to just swipe the stems and leaves on the floor. Some don't hesitate, others almost panic.

I had to laugh when I was cleaning up the very, VERY tidy piles of leaves on the floor.

Did I get pictures of the amazing bouquets? Nope. I was enjoying the moment, living my best life in my Three Pink Elephants Era.

Next month we are taking the Eras Tour on the road and visiting Mikey at The Cheese and Wine Shop in Hastings.

The Era? "Speak Now"

Sunday, June 21st at 2pm.

More to come! 💓

Do you smell that? (Pause for sniffing) No, not me you cheeky monkeys! Geez, after the zombie sighting on Thursday, I took at least one shower since then!

No! It's the amazing aroma of the fan favorite Blush + Navy linen spray and body lotion from Aria Rose Bath Co....Returning to its rightful place on the shelf here at Three Pink Elephants!

Every time I think about it, I think of one of my clients sniffing it, clutching it close to her chest, and then exclaiming, "Oh my God! I'm getting this and I'm going to spray it on my husband so I like him!"

I reorder it often, it goes fast. But I did order a couple of other new scents too! Blonde Woods and Pink Cosmo!

After working in the a lot today, there's a good chance I should probably spray some on myself! 🤔

Y'all have a great weekend!

Closing today due to a zombie sighting. 🧟‍♀️
After a gasp of horror, a tiny scream, and an "oh gross".…it turns out it's actually me, I'm the zombie. 😳 Pale, disoriented, nagging cough, etc.
Thanks for understanding.

Opening at 3 today! Bub and I have tons of deliveries this afternoon!

He's also super stoked that he gets to go visit his friends at Clay Center Critter Care, Inc. to get his vaccines today during their vaccine clinic week!!

OK, lies.

He's not stoked about the vaccine part BUT he does love his doctor and nurses and the seemingly endless supply of those little chicken treats.
