A common question. What is the difference between tempered glass and annealed glass?
Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is made by heating to high temperatures and then rapidly cooling it, which makes it much stronger than regular glass. When broken, it shatters into small pieces.
Annealed glass is regular cut glass that, when broken, will break into larger, more sharp pieces.
