Dear Friends,

As we reach the turn of the season, with its warm days and shorter evenings, I wanted to reach out and share a quick update from the farm.

This season has brought its fair share of challenges, as we have battled extreme heat, drought, pests, and flooding. Through every obstacle, we have found ourselves asking how to adjust and keep moving forward, and we feel truly blessed that our perseverance has paid off. The flowers are finally thriving, especially in Field 1.

In celebration of the Dahlia Festival in Highlands, NC, we are excited to open the farm to our community. We invite you to join us for a tour and a freshly cut bouquet to take home on either of the following dates:

- Friday, September 11, 2026: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday, September 12, 2026: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We would love to see you there and share the beauty of this harvest with you.

Farm will be open tomorrow thru Monday, 8am-6pm. See the signs at the end of the driveway come on in and honk when you get to the house so we can hear you as we are working in our fields this weekend!

Fresh bouquets available this Saturday and Sunday at 9am-5pm on Saturday and from 3-6 on Sunday here on the farm! Come see us we love to give tours and let people see what we’re doing and while you’re here, take a fresh bouquet home with you!

Today has been a long day…. Leaving at 8 am and not returning until 6:45 pm with some unexpected dental work.
Then we go to cut and our big u-pick field is struggling and not so sound.. we are spraying tonight and if by Monday we don’t see a drastic improvement we may have to move to eradicating this entire field to heal our soil in order to produce the flowers our farms reputation depends on..
It’s all in Gods hands. It’s all in his timing. Patience and understanding is all we can do!
If this should happen we will eliminate the u-pick field as of August 16th! We will continue to supply the The Molly Grace Corp. every Tuesday and we are adding the Highlands Good Food every Thursday. We will use our field 1 to keep bouquets each week but we will not have u-picks as often and our spaces when we do will be limited.
August 2 is our first u-pick please message me for your spot!
ITS BEEN A WEIRDLY CRAZY YEAR TO FARM! But in the end, all glory to God and it may mean that we need to mend our field to have more life and better flower quality for years to come!
