First burn! Did you know the first burn is called a memory burn and it is very important for the life of your candle? For the first burn, you want to make sure you keep the candle burning until the melt pool reaches the edge of the vessel (usually about 3 hours). This prevents tunneling and allows you to get the most use of your candle and enjoy it to the fullest.

It's funny how we spend so much time wishing for the bright, beautiful moments in life, forgetting that sometimes it's the darker ones that teach us to appreciate them.
Not every season is sunshine and clear skies. Some are messy, uncertain, and downright exhausting. But even those seasons have a way of showing us things we might never have noticed otherwise.
And sometimes, the most beautiful things reveal themselves when the world gets a little darker.
Here's to finding the light, even when it isn't immediately obvious.

Another extraordinary Oktoberfest weekend in the books, and you guys showed up for us once again! We had such a fantastic weekend seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and sending a whole lot of candles home with you. I absolutely love this event and our little hometown.
That being said…There’s something about coming off a long festival weekend that leaves me feeling a little like a raccoon on Monday morning. 😂🦝
Dark circles around my eyes? ✔️
Stayed up way too late? ✔️
Ate questionable amounts of junk food? ✔️
Small and chubby? Mind your business. 😂
Cute but will fight you? Depends how much coffee I’ve had. ☕
Today’s agenda: coffee, unpacking, inventory…and possibly a nap.
Worth it? Every single time. 🧡🍂

Tomorrow we head into one of our biggest weekends of the year: Clayton Oktoberfest hosted by the !
Candles poured. Lids engraved. Boxes packed. Booth supplies loaded. And whatever I forgot at home…I can run up and grab it. 😂
We’re ready for the music. The food. The b**r. The carnival. Seeing familiar faces. Meeting new ones. And, of course, helping all of you find your favorite candle scents. There’s something extra special about getting to do this one right here in our hometown, and I seriously cannot wait.
We’re ready, Clayton! Let the hometown fun begin! 👑🍺🥨🎡🍂
