Humble beginnings, but we're still here! It's soapmaking day: Honey Oatmeal and a couple other favorites. We've been making products like crazy these days, including an old favorite you haven't seen in a while: Weebinator!

Made in partnership with Balsam Lake Brewery in Balsam Lake, WI, this features their Weebinator Hazy IPA in combination with our goat milk for a bubbly lather and creamy moisturizing that can't be beat. Add the scent of Hawaiian Plumeria flowers for a mini vacation in your shower! Ok,, maybe that's over the top, but what a great scent - it's ALMOST that good... This'll be available in a few weeks.

Hope your weather is as fine as ours today. Just one last taste of summer before we bed everyone down for the winter chill. 🥰

Happy Saturday everyone! It's soap making day so I'm thinking of you. Four slabs today: Farmhouse Lavender, Minnesconsin, Goats in the Orchard and Midwest Man - some of my favorites.

Of course, we've got your favorite Christmas soaps curing so they'll be ready for gifting and your personal enjoyment as soon as you're in the seasonal mood. 🎅

🍂Happy Labor Day!🍂
We are back to homeschooling this year, which means opportunities to investigate and answer a million questions about anything you can imagine. 😂

Today's question: why Labor Day?

Among many answers, we discovered that Labor Day is a celebration of the end of child labor in the United States.
My kids: what do you mean there's no child labor? 🤨

Let me clarify: it's the celebration of our five year olds no longer going off to the mines and factories to work adult hours at the expense of their education, continuing a cycle of poverty for generation after generation.

We don't get everything right in this country, but it's a good day to celebrate what we have accomplished. And it's a good day to be with family.

PS: if you've noticed somewhat delayed order fulfillment, please accept my apologies - we were researching why wolf spiders seem busier in September, why the ancient Greeks knew the earth was round without NASA involvement, and whether Frog and Toad ever found Toad's lost button. It's been busy.
