Today, my sister, two of our longtime friends, and I took a little road trip to Cuba, NY, to attend the 4th Annual Witch's Market! 🧙‍♀️🧹

It was a day filled with all things witchy, featuring some of Western New York’s most talented tarot readers, mediums, astrologers, and witchy small business owners sharing their magical and whimsical wares. ✨🖤✨️

A couple of highlights included watching the Be Witched Buffalo Dancers perform and having an impromptu reading with one of the psychics! 🔮

It was the perfect fall day for a scenic drive, a little leaf peeping, catching up with old friends, and reminiscing about the good old days. 🍁🍂

Days like these are good for the soul! 🥰

While I'm on the subject of vintage ceramics, I just had to share one of my all-time favorite estate sale finds....

I found this adorable hand-painted ceramic Halloween house at an estate sale about 7 or 8 years ago. It was at the home of a former co-worker's parents, tucked in amongst a table full of other vintage ceramics.

I swear I think I actually gasped when I spotted it! 😮😍

I'd never seen anything like it before, and I haven't seen anything like it since. It's beautifully hand-painted AND it lights up! 🏚️✨

I think I paid around $10 for it, and honestly, I couldn't tell you what else I bought at that sale. This little house was clearly the star of the show!

This is just another reason why yard sales, thrift shops, antique stores, and estate sales will ALWAYS beat big box stores in my book. You just never know what one-of-a-kind treasure you'll stumble across! 🧡🖤🧡

I already told you the story about my ceramic Halloween tree that my mother-in-law made; now I need to tell you about the ceramic pumpkin guy that my mom made...

30 years ago, when my parents got divorced, my mom moved out and apparently left this adorable "pumpkin guy" behind....I'm not sure if she just forgot it or if at that point she didn't care about it and left it there on purpose (probably a little bit of both 😜).

Anyway, my dad stayed in the house and eventually got remarried. A few years ago, my step mom found the pumpkin guy stashed away in the basement and asked me if I wanted it.

YES! OF COURSE, I'LL TAKE IT! 😃🎃😍🧡

I'm not sure how it lasted that long in my dad's basement - If I was the ex-husband or the new wife, I would have thrown it out years ago. 🤷‍♀️😂

I asked my mom if she wanted it back, and she told me "no"; she's not really one to decorate for holidays, plus it's not really her style anymore. Good, because I didn't want to give it to her anyway! 😜

Yesterday was the most gorgeous fall day - it was 80° here! 🍂🥰🍁

I was so happy to find out that my son had already taken Dixie for a walk by the time I got home, which meant I was off the hook! 🙌

Since my evening was free and the weather was absolutely beautiful, I decided to take advantage of it and get started on cleaning up my patio and garden area. I made a pretty good dent in it before it got too dark to keep working.

Theres a cold front moving in and it's supposed to be in the 40s this weekend; hopefully we get some more nice weather so I can finish up winterizing everything. 🤞

I still haven't had a chance to go through my estate sale finds from last weekend (and the ones from a few weekends ago 😜), but hopefully I'll get to do that tonight!

One of my favorite parts is pulling everything out and going through my piles. I can never remember everything I bought, so it's almost like Christmas morning when I finally get to see it all again! 😂😬
