Meet Billy… My Little Studio Mischief Maker.

I love creating for fall. There’s just something about this season that makes me want to fill my studio with old-fashioned colors, cozy things, and a little bit of magic.

But every artist needs a studio assistant… and mine happens to have four paws.

Meet Billy.

Billy is my teenager, and this is his favorite blanket—a sweet gift from a friend. He spends his days curled up on it, watching me create as if he’s carefully inspecting every piece that comes out of my hands.

But don’t let that innocent face fool you. 😂

When I tent his blanket just right, it becomes his little hunting blind. He waits patiently for one of my Border Collies to stroll past… and then WHAP! — out comes a paw to grab a tail.

He is full of curiosity, fun, and just enough mischief to keep all of us on our toes.

Our days are never dull with Billy around.

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fall creating, a cozy blanket, a mischievous cat, and a house full of characters… these are the little things that make home feel like home.

Good afternoon. I would like to introduce to you Jack. He is approx. 37 inches around he is a big fella. He is made to look antiqued. I just love him. He is so regal and large he sits upon my canning pot. Made to sit on a chair, be a centerpiece or put on a side table. His center is weighted with sand. To stay in place. Pm to reserve.

Good afternoon a sneak peak!
“Harvest Harry”

He’s slowly coming to life…

This oversized primitive pumpkin is completely handmade from a repurposed vintage sweater and measures nearly the size of my stovetop! Every wrinkle, patch, and crooked smile is meant to capture that worn, timeworn heirloom look I love creating.

No patterns. No mass production. Just one-of-a-kind folk art made by hand.

He still has a few finishing touches before he’s ready to find his forever home.

Would you keep him out for Halloween…or all through fall?

Welcome the harvest season with this uniquely made primitive scarecrow door greeter “Andy”, handcrafted in my studio with an emphasis on early American folk art and heirloom quality. This is a unique design—no two will ever be exactly alike.

Measuring 33 inches tall and 14 inches wide, this substantial scarecrow makes a beautiful statement on a front door, covered porch, entryway, or inside your home as part of your fall décor.

The face is constructed from heavy-duty canvas that has been hand-aged for an authentic primitive appearance. Each facial feature is individually hand stitched, while the expressive eyes are carefully hand painted, giving this piece its unique personality.

The oversized hat is adorned with:

* A handcrafted primitive crow
* Real Indian corn
* Natural dried corn husks
* Homespun fabric accents

The neck is finished with layers of hand-torn homespun fabric, creating wonderful texture and movement while maintaining the rustic, timeworn look collectors appreciate.
