Sure, Lighting has a job to do.. but who says it can’t show off a little while doing it?💡

Monday Mood :Surrounded by good design📚🎨📏

From books and inspiration to colors, textures, finishes, and materials- every project starts with exploring possibilities. There are so many details that go into creating a space that feels just right and sometimes the best part of the process is seeing all those ideas begin to come together.

At Klar & Klar we are surrounded by samples, inspiration and plenty of design decisions- we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Unique is kind of the point.

If there is anyone who has made an art form out of being completely, unapologetically herself, it’s Dolly Parton

Bold. Warm. A little unexpected. Never trying to look or sound like everyone else.

That is something we love about architecture too. Our favorite projects are the ones that could only belong to the people who live there- the unexpected material, a dramatic stair, a room that breaks a few rules, the detail you won’t see in the house next door.

We don’t want every client to want the same thing. We want to know what you love, how you love and what would make your space unmistakably yours.

So in honor of Dolly: bring us the big personalities, the bold choices and the “can we actually do that” idea.

Because blending in was never all that interesting anyway🦋

👋Meet Andrew! The newest member of the Klar and Klar team!

📚Andrew completed his master’s in architecture in May 2025 with a passion for creating resilient, people centered spaces.

🛠️Before joining us, he worked as a fabricator, building his skills in technical assemblies and discovering a love for wood working along the way. That hands-on experience gives him a unique perspective on design- understanding not just how something looks but how its put together.

🪵The building doesn’t stop when he leaves the office. These days at home, Andrew makes everything from cutting boards to floating shelves.

✨We have a feeling Andrew is going to fit right in at Klar and Klar and are so happy to have him here. We can’t wait to see what he brings to the team!

A theater is never just building.

It’s the anticipation before the house lights go down. The first note from the stage. The applause at curtain call. Its where performers tell stories-and where audiences carry those stories home with them.

Klar and Klar was proud to take on the renovation of Ruth Eckerd Hall, a place that’s been part of so many of those moments in our community.

At Ruth Erckerd Hall, the experience begins before you even reach your seat. From sweeping curves and a dramatic entrance outside to the soaring spaces, light and energy within, the architecture creates a sense of occasion. It invites you to arrive, gather, take photos with your loved ones, look around and feel that something special is about to happen.

The magic of a night at the theatre is shaped by every moment- from the first impression of the building to the final bow on stage.

Years later, we love returning to the theatre with our children, family, community and friends, sharing in the same sense of wonder and watching new generations experience the joy of live performance.

There is something so exciting about seeing a project at this stage-when the walls are taking shape, the spaces are starting to reveal themselves and you can finally begin to feel the design coming to life.

Every stud, beam, opening and detail is one step closer to the finished home.. and that view isn’t a bad backdrop either🌊

Kait has a passion for creating interiors that feel as good as they look. As an interior designer at Klar and Klar, she works closely with clients to shape spaces that reflect their personalities, lifestyles, and the way they truly live. From the first ideas to the finishing touches, she enjoys turning inspiration into reality.

💫Favorite part of the job? Seeing the finished product. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching an idea grow from a concept on paper into a space that clients get to enjoy every day.

🏡Every home needs.. A cozy atmosphere and tons of natural lighting! Kait believes that design is not just about appearances; it’s about creating a home that feels warm, welcoming, and lived in.

💚Fun Fact: Outside the office, Kait loves junk journaling and collecting mementos to use in her creative projects.

Curves are having a moment….. and we’re here for it.

One of our favorite parts of this project is watching all these architectural details come to life. The arched openings, curved staircase, and cloister vaulted ceiling are already making this home feel special- even before the drywall goes up.

These aren’t details that happen by accident. They take thoughtful design, skilled craftmanship and a team that’s committed to getting every curve just right.

Where Mediterranean-inspired architecture meets the Florida lifestyle🌴

Layered rooflines, warm wood accents, graceful arches and carefully placed architectural details give this custom home a strong sense of character from every angle. The blend of rich natural tones and decorative ironwork creates a look that feels both timeless and welcoming.


The exterior makes a statement, but it’s the smaller moments that truly set the design apart- from the patterned tile risers to the framed views and thoughtful transitions throughout the home. Every feature was considered as a part of the larger vision, creating a residence that feels cohesive, elegant and uniquely its own.
