This one was a JOURNEY.

Senita and her husband were moving from Ohio to Florida, and there was a point where it genuinely looked like they might be loading up their entire life and heading south without a home to move into.

And I knew exactly how scary that felt, because I’ve been the relocation buyer.

I know what it feels like to leave everything familiar behind, move your family to another state, and hope like hell you’re making the right decision. It’s exciting, but it’s also terrifying. Especially when the plan starts falling apart and suddenly you’re asking, “What the f**k are we going to do now?”

There were tears. There was stress. There was an impressive amount of swearing. There were moments where none of us knew exactly how this was going to come together.

But we kept going.

I kept problem-solving, kept looking, kept pushing through every new curveball until I finally got them HOME.

That’s probably why I have such a soft spot for relocation buyers. I know this isn’t just about buying a house. You’re moving your entire life. Your family. Your routines. Your sense of normal.

And when things get scary, you need someone who understands that and stays in it with you.

So when Senita sent me this review, it hit differently.

From Ohio to Florida. From almost not having a home to move into… to keys in hand.

That’s the s**t I’ll never get tired of.

What happens when we wrap up your design package? I’m packing up one right here.

This project was an entire home, so there are a LOT of selections behind this little drive: paint colors, finishes, flooring, tile, and the shopping list that brings it all together.

I save everything so my client has one place to come back to. When it’s time to order, coordinate with contractors, or remember which paint we chose for which room, those details are right there.

Then I package it up with a little thank-you. You’ve trusted me with your home, and that deserves a thoughtful send-off.

The design package is finished. Now you get to watch it become your home.

Toscano Interiors is moving!

This is my 15th year in business, and if you know me, you know I’m stubborn enough to keep going and pretty damn good at figuring things out along the way.

But I’ve given this location enough chances. Downtown Clearwater has its own set of problems, and between that and driving an hour and a half EACH WAY, something had to change.

I love what I do. I just want to spend more of my day actually doing it.

So we’ll be closed through October while I pack up and get the new space ready. There’s a lot I still want to do with this store, and I’m excited to finally get on with it.

New location reveal coming soon. 15 years… you didn’t think I was done, did you? 😉

This is the Florida I wish more people knew about.

Coffee by the water before anyone needs anything from you. An afternoon at nearby Fort Island Gulf Beach with your chair in the sand. Heading into downtown Crystal River for dinner, then coming home to your own little spot on the water.

Bare feet. A slower pace. Actually using your weekends to enjoy where you live.

That’s NATURE COAST living. And that’s what I love about my newest waterfront listing at 2195 N Slewfoot Point. The beach and downtown Crystal River are close by, but you might find your favorite place is right here at home.

What would you do with your own little piece of the HILLSBOROUGH RIVER?

I’m picturing coffee under those beautiful trees, a hammock, a good book, a couple gator friends, and an afternoon with absolutely nowhere to be. Bring a picnic, watch the birds, or finally put your phone down for a while.

It’s zoned RESIDENTIAL, so maybe your vision is a future riverfront home with windows facing the water and a porch you’d never want to leave. We’d need to confirm the building possibilities for this particular lot, but it’s a pretty great place to start dreaming.

Fishing, kayaking, maybe even camping? Those are possibilities to look into, too, once we confirm access and what’s permitted.

Personally? I’d want to leave it alone. Just a little piece of nature heaven. In all honesty, if I had the money, I’d buy every vacant lot I could so nobody could cut down the trees and build on them. Probably a funny thing for a Realtor to admit, but here we are.
