FINALLY!!! Finally got the time to make myself a desk after nearly a year and a half of having this black walnut live edge. 4 gallons of later, we have lift off. Hairpin legs from finished her off nice after I had to use my 2’’ walnut for another project rather than the farmhouse legs I was going to build.

Not quite woodworking related, but I’m always losing track of time in the garage and thought I oughta get a watch. So like most of the tools and machines I have purchased. I wanted to get something old and USA made, when things were made better. Found this cool late 50’s Sears wind up watch online and had to get it. Even have a cool stretchy metal band.

Here’s a few backwards progress shots of a sign we did this past week for Amanda !!

We started out with an old sign she purchased from Hobby Lobby to get her by, but by the time we gave it back, boy was it a whole new story.

Using Premium Valspar Exterior Paint paired with Thompson’s Weather seal, this sign with by gleaming for years to come.

Glad we were able to get it done and out to Amanda before her weekend rush!! Y’all go check her out!
