"Sorry I'm covered in sweat and sawdust"
On April 1st, 2020, my 13-year stint with a market research company came to an end and I quickly started my own small business consulting firm.
It didn't take me long to realize I was tired of spending my life sitting in front of multiple computer screens, unable to socialize or communicate with the deep focus I'd been stuck in for the past 13 years. So I took a week off and did a staycation, building a workbench from scrap wood and hiking.
Next, I was gifted 3 major woodworking tools and my obsession began. From the garage to a workshop, I started scouring every estate and garage sale around for tools. Started attending YouTube university, learning from greats such as StubbyNubs and Woodworking for Meer Mortals. About a year later, as my workshop was coming together and my knowledge and experience using my new tools was increasing, I was introduced by a friend to the fascinating and deadly art of Lichtenberg.
I was hooked instantly, but it took until Spring of 2021 before I could start burning, due to cold Ohio winters and a need for proper ventilation and dry conditions. I have since then been amassing a large supply of domestic and exotic hardwoods and creating as many different types of functional home decor items as I can think of. Many of these early creations adorn my own walls or were gifted to friends and family, or commissioned pieces such as large picture frames and even a 160 sq ft bar front. But now, in the summer of 2022, I'm finally ready to start selling my creations to the general public. Not everything I've got for sale is posted yet and not everything I love making and was a hit has a current version made for sale; so please follow my shop to see what I'm so excited about as I continue to throw one of a kind, Lichtenberg, domestic and exotic hardwood décor up for sale. When each piece is gone it's gone.
Finally thank you to everyone who supports my one-woman band.
