…. Linen is a cellulosic fiber made from the stem of the flax plant. Linen is often seen in its natural color that ranges from light cream to dark tan. In this state, cellulosic browning is probable when water is introduced due to the high amount of lignin contained in the fiber. Controlling the amount of moisture and fast drying are important when spot cleaning linen.

Now we want to properly kick off summer here in Northern Ohio. Over 8,000 individual outdoor cushions were picked up last fall. They were inspected, cleaned, repaired (if necessary) and properly stored during the winter. And now, the last of them are flying out our warehouse doors to the outdoor spaces they adorn. But it’s not too late if your outdoor living space is not ready. Call us today!

Of all the fibers available, acrylic is the most resistant to sun fade. This does not mean it doesn’t fade though. It is also mold and mildew resistant, making it ideal for outdoor applications. However, this does not mean that mold or mildew won’t grow on your outdoor cushions. Debris and soiling that build up on top of your outdoor cushions can foster mildew growth and stain the acrylic cushion below.
