I finished this sweater today. It had been so very nearly finished, sitting in a project bag in the closet. I worked on it on my trip to Spain last year. I worked on it the many times I spent visiting my dad. I think I never finished it because it was a reminder of his death, even peaceful, it is still hard. Now it reminds me of the gratitude I feel for having that time to spend with him (making him a martini, or watching Bob Ross). Iā€™m looking forward to wearing it, with love.

I forgot a ā€œbeforeā€ picture, but this was a Banana Republic menā€™s shirt from the thrift store. I cut the sleeves (and made them puffy) and added a ruffle collar. I think it will be super cute with jeans!
