I've spent the last 2 years working my antique booth and I loved it!
It was the perfect creative outlet for me and provided a part-time income for my family. This last month I had to make the difficult decision to close it. I found myself, again in a season of caregiving for my granny at the end of her life. It is incredibly time consuming, emotionally, mentally, and physically. I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world though. It is the last gift I can give the women who has been the biggest influence, the most loving, and the most nurturing person in my life.
One thing I've learned in my short-ish life is that when change happens, when doors close, it isn't just an ending, it's the beginning of something new. The name Renewed Boutique came from a season of renewal in my life (Isaiah 40:31), and I know that I will once again be renewed by the Lord. So don't go anywhere, new things are coming!
