Hey everyone! Rebekah here! It’s been a bit!
I know we have been quiet on social media for the last little bit. As I had decided to take a step back some last year and work on myself just know we are still here and still doing wedding florals and working on some exciting things! But a little real talk for a minute… For the past year to say it has been hard is an understatement. Dealing with depression and self loathing can really do a toll on a person! Every time I smiled, the feeling like a fake would creep in. This was for every aspect of my life. You feel like you have to be a light and be everything for everyone but when I was alone there was nothing left for myself and when I looked in the mirror I hated myself. From what I looked like to always feel like I was bothering the ones who loved me and worried that they would get tired of me. Some days it was all I could do to just get up. When we measure our self worth and our value on the world’s view and the expectations we think others have for us we set ourselves up for failure. For anyone who talks negatively to themselves or about themselves stop now! You are valued you are loved you are cherished and you are worth so much more than you can even begin to imagine. For anyone who thinks that they’re not doing enough or doing good enough you are you are doing amazing things! For anyone who struggles about what they look like you’re beautiful. For anyone who thinks that you’re bothering someone else, to the ones that really care about you, you’re not. To the one who measures self-worth on whether or not you’re chosen, you are so worthy of joy, and to be loved, and deserving of peace. To the one who feels like they are having to be all the things for everyone don’t forget to take some time for yourself because you are worth it! Im not saying any of this for pity I am in a much better place but my wish in posting this is to let someone who is struggling know that you are not alone! We all have dark days and sometime those days turns into months and even years, but please don’t suffer alone! Thank you to those who loved me in my dark days!💕🌸
