comment WINDOW to shop what we used. we did this in july and it’s been so nice having these pops of color all summer. i used to love looking out as seeing the flowers in our old box especially come fall when we can plant mini mums!

comment FIREPIT. late summer/fall is the perfect time for a bonfire and this project is a simple one! first we built it using just the plastic landscaping ring then swapped it for pavers this year- either work fine!

comment BASE to shop what we used. hands down the easiest and most affordable way to take your baseboards from boring to beautiful. we’ve done this so many times and the best part is you can use literally any type of base cap or decorative trim depending on the look you’re going for and the size of your baseboards.

comment CONSOLE to shop. my only requirement was pretty legs, the rest i knew taylor could handle. found this dining table for $20 on marketplace. taylor cut it in half, reconfigured the underside, sanded, and stained. perfect console made to fit this little space.
this mirror had been on my list of wants for a while but i didn’t have a place to use it until now. it’s so pretty and comes in two sizes.

comment MARBLE to shop the entire bathroom including the flooring, marble ledge, vanity, etc. the ledge measures 84 inches so we just had to cut a little off the length. it’s siliconed (like any shower or tub would be) and over gives 8 inches from the inside of the tub to the edge of the marble.

comment BENCH to shop some of the tools and the hinges we used to create this bench seat. our plumbing for the washer/dryer runs from under this window and across so we needed a clever way to disguise it with out having to rip open the floor to hide it.
i’m a sucker for a bench/window seat anyway so we created a box around the plumbing to store any extra items we might need. window seat + storage 🙌🏻 for the top, we used an old memory foam bed pad, some fabric and wood. creating useful things doesn’t have to be costly or overly complicated. it’s actually the comfiest spot in the house and my daughter loves to hang out here while i get ready

there is the now but there was the before and the before, before.
our bathroom is broken up into a bathroom plus laundry and wardrobe area. everything you need in one space and i love it as this layout
