Fall is our favorite season and we are looking forward to our next outdoor festival, 2026 Alpaca Farm Days Farm and Fiber Festival being held on September 26th 2026 at Mill Pond Alpacas. This fun event is fiber centric (and we are all about wares made out of natural fibers!) being held with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Renssealer. But it isn’t just about fiber…it is about pumpkins, animals, food, artisian vendors, even a little learning with education and agricultural demos! Best of all…Alpacas! We will be requesting a spot right next to them so we can gaze upon those furry friends while discussing the wonder of ice dye 🙂 (just kidding of course…or are we?). So excited for our friends at Sweet Pickins' Collective who will be opening up soon in Waterford. Stay tuned for more and follow along with their progress!

Something sweet is coming to 30 Saratoga Ave Waterford…

We’re so excited to introduce Sweet Pickins’ Collective, a new shopping experience coming to the historic Village of Waterford this fall!

Sweet Pickins’ Collective is a little bit old-fashioned mercantile, a little bit artisan marketplace, and a whole lot of treasure hunting. Inside you’ll find handmade goods, curated vintage treasures, repurposed finds, artisan creations, specialty products, seasonal favorites and plenty of things you didn’t know you needed until you spotted them.

Our hope is that Sweet Pickins’ feels like the kind of place where you want to slow down and wander. Where every booth, shelf and corner offers something new to discover and where the things you bring home have a story behind them.

We’re busy getting everything ready for an early fall opening, just in time for one of our favorite seasons. Think cozy teas and treats, fall décor, warm accessories, one-of-a-kind finds and all those little things that make autumn feel like autumn.

And this page is where you’ll get the first peek! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing some of the talented makers, collectors, curators and small businesses joining the Collective, sharing behind-the-scenes progress, and giving you sneak peeks at what you’ll find inside.

So follow along, tell your treasure-hunting friends, and stay tuned.

Couldn’t make it yesterday to the Markets At Round Lake? Well you are in luck…we are open 10-4 today as well! Thank you so much to the wonderful shoppers who came by yesterday, we appreciate your support! Especially on such a sticky day! So come on by, grab a beverage, something yummy to eat, listen to the band and take in all the amazing makers! Maybe even try on one of our fun bucket hats !

Just few days left until the Markets At Round Lake! We are very excited to see our loyal shoppers & vendor friends and are ready to make new connections at this wonderful event! Where will we be? It’s that time of year and made these gifts for an awesome young lady heading to college next month (not sure if you can figure out where she is going 😆). The sweatshirt is a hearty organic cotton from Etsy seller https://www.etsy.com/shop/LetsBeHonestInc and the patch was made by https://www.etsy.com/shop/SunlittUS. I did the dyeing! The blanket was made using super soft Bernat Blanket Big Frosted (hadn’t tried that yarn before!) in a size of 54x44. Hopefully she will be cozy during those cool Binghamton winters!

Warning: Attending Markets At Round Lake may result in unexpectedly leaving with handmade treasures, delicious treats, and a strong desire to redecorate your house!

We're counting down the days until August 8 & 9, when this charming little village fills up with an incredible collection of artists, makers, vintage curators, food vendors, live music, a community book sale... and us!

We're so excited to be back after joining the market for the first time last year. It quickly became one of our favorite events not just because we get to share our colorful ice-dyed creations, but because we're surrounded by some of the most creative, talented, and wonderfully quirky people you'll ever meet.

And the fun doesn't stop there! Our friends Hold My Keys will be there too, along with a whole lineup of makers whose creativity will have you saying, "Well... I definitely didn't know I needed that until now."

If you've never wandered the Village of Round Lake, this is your sign. It's already one of the most unique little villages around, and during Markets weekend it becomes a treasure hunt where every booth has something that makes you smile.

So grab a friend, bring your comfy walking shoes (and maybe a reusable shopping bag... trust us), and spend the day discovering beautiful handcrafted goods, amazing food, great music, and all the little surprises that make shopping small so much fun.

Come on down to check out the Round Lake Antique Festival! We aren’t vending but are helping out. So many amazing antique and vintage purveyors…they have everything you can imagine. And if all the shopping gets you thirsty or hungry…check out the awesome food vendors! Tasty draft beer, so many kinds of lemonade, pierogis and all things Polish, super juicy burgers, and of course…Pies! Don’t forget the popcorn and Ice cream up within the antique vendors! And for a little entertainment bands both days! So come by and check it out! It is gorgeous out. You won’t be disappointed.
