Grand Opening of Sweet Pickins' Collective, where we are proud to have a space, is October 24th! Come on down and check all of the fabulous vendor offerings and grab a snack and a beverage! Shopping is thirsty work!

Well, we've been open for a few weeks now, getting our feet wet, figuring things out, and having a wonderful time meeting so many of you along the way!

But enough of this "soft opening" business…it's time to make it official!

Sweet Pickins' Collective is having our GRAND OPENING on Saturday, October 24th, from 10am to 5pm!

We've got a wonderful group of artisans, makers, collectors, and curators who have been busy filling the shop with all sorts of handcrafted goods, vintage treasures, unique gifts, and things you didn't know you needed until you spotted them!

So come celebrate with us! Meet some of the talented folks behind the treasures, enjoy a little something to sip and nibble on, and take your time poking around. You never know what you might find!

Whether you've already stopped in or have been meaning to check us out, we'd love to see you.

We are excited to be part of the SP Collective and their opening day! We'll be adding more items over the upcoming weeks! So come check us out and the rest of the wonderful offerings at Sweet Pickins' Collective

It’s the BIG day! 🌻 The doors are open and we’re ready to welcome you to Sweet Pickins’ Collective!

Come on in, take a look around, see what we’ve been up to, and meet some of the talented folks who’ve been making, finding, picking, and gathering all the good stuff you’ll find inside.

We can’t wait for you to see it all. Come say hello and be part of our very first day! Open 11am to 6pm.

Fall is our favorite season and we are looking forward to our next outdoor festival, 2026 Alpaca Farm Days Farm and Fiber Festival being held on September 26th 2026 at Mill Pond Alpacas. This fun event is fiber centric (and we are all about wares made out of natural fibers!) being held with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Renssealer. But it isn’t just about fiber…it is about pumpkins, animals, food, artisian vendors, even a little learning with education and agricultural demos! Best of all…Alpacas! We will be requesting a spot right next to them so we can gaze upon those furry friends while discussing the wonder of ice dye 🙂 (just kidding of course…or are we?). So get it on your calendar and get on down to Mill Pond Alpacas! More event info can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/share/19GwM9t2wF/?mibextid=wwXIfr

So excited for our friends at Sweet Pickins' Collective who will be opening up soon in Waterford. Stay tuned for more and follow along with their progress!

Something sweet is coming to 30 Saratoga Ave Waterford…

We’re so excited to introduce Sweet Pickins’ Collective, a new shopping experience coming to the historic Village of Waterford this fall!

Sweet Pickins’ Collective is a little bit old-fashioned mercantile, a little bit artisan marketplace, and a whole lot of treasure hunting. Inside you’ll find handmade goods, curated vintage treasures, repurposed finds, artisan creations, specialty products, seasonal favorites and plenty of things you didn’t know you needed until you spotted them.

Our hope is that Sweet Pickins’ feels like the kind of place where you want to slow down and wander. Where every booth, shelf and corner offers something new to discover and where the things you bring home have a story behind them.

We’re busy getting everything ready for an early fall opening, just in time for one of our favorite seasons. Think cozy teas and treats, fall décor, warm accessories, one-of-a-kind finds and all those little things that make autumn feel like autumn.

And this page is where you’ll get the first peek! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing some of the talented makers, collectors, curators and small businesses joining the Collective, sharing behind-the-scenes progress, and giving you sneak peeks at what you’ll find inside.

So follow along, tell your treasure-hunting friends, and stay tuned.

We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome you to Sweet Pickins’ Collective.
