This world, so full of His wonderous creation, is still a broken and fallen world... with broken and fallen people. It can be cruel and it can break our hearts, but how blessed to be His and to have our joy and our peace from Him.
Don't let the schemes of the evil one deceive you otherwise, and know that trials and tribulations are used of God to test our faith. Remain in Him. Abide.

The Christian has his best things last, and therefore in this world he receives his worst things first.

The Christian life is all about relationship with our Lord. Do not neglect time in His presence, reading His Word and in prayer. Remember, "All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies" -Psalm 25:10.

This world has a way of turning our attention away from our Lord. We say the wrong things, we hurt ourselves or others, we fail to do the right things and continue, to our great sorrow, to sin. Then He, in his great love for His children, gives us mercy. O Lord, bless you, and bless your Holy Name.

This is where it all begins. Jesus calls to us and opens His heart to us, full of compassion for our condition. His is indeed the Lighter Load, we just want to come alongside and be His hands and feet on this earth, while there is yet time.
