This Shadowbox was ordered before Christmas but I couldn’t get it fit in before the holiday hit. She was gracious enough to let me build it after the dust settled. The request was to build her a Shadowbox to gift to her Dad. Her plans are to put old antique tools in it and asked if I could make it a “clean rustic-if that even is a thing” lol. Well, if it wasn’t a thing, it is now. The walls and door are made from old rough cut walnut and the backing is made from old Box Elder barnwood. The battery powered LED light strip was ordered from Amazon and can be set to almost any solid color or can be set to shuffle through all of the colors. It also has the ability to fluctuate and react to music or any other sound in the room. The single pane glass was custom cut and sourced from MVP Auto glass near the square across the street from the Clinton Chamber of Commerce. The folks at MVP are always very kind, fast, accommodating, and fair with their pricing. I can’t recommend them enough. I enjoyed this build and I appreciate the client for trusting me to bring her vision to life!
