We want to introduce our new event at the 4th of a July Hometown Celebration:
🚲 Kids Show and Shine 🚘
🚗 WHAT IS A "KIDS SHOW & SHINE"?
Think of it just like the big car show happening that day, but for the kids! It’s a chance for them to park their favorite battery-operated or foot-powered rides in a special display area, show them off to the community, and even compete for a trophy.
🏆 HOW THE CONTEST WORKS
• Entry Fee: It is just $5.00 to enter your child's ride in the show.
• Categories: This is open to all battery-powered vehicles (like Power Wheels), bicycles, and trikes. Please note: No gas-powered vehicles are allowed.
• People’s Choice: The community will walk through the display area and vote for their favorites.
• Awards: We will award trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at 1:00 PM!
🕒 THE GAME PLAN
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Judging): All rides must be parked in the designated area near the main Car Show. Kids "vehicles" stay in this area so the public can see them and cast their votes.
• 1:00 PM (Awards): We gather to announce our winners and hand out trophies!
• Immediately After Awards (The Kids Cruise): Once the trophies are handed out, all participants will join in on a "Kids Cruise"—a fun victory lap through a designated route to show off their rides in motion inside the building!
⚠️ A FEW QUICK RULES
• Supervision: A parent or guardian must stay with their little driver at all times.
• Age Limit: This event is open to kiddos ages 3 to 10.
We are so excited to see how the kids decorate their rides! Whether it’s a shiny new bike or a "custom" decked-out Jeep, come help us start a new tradition this 4th of July! 🇺🇸
