Want a spot for your TV, but a dresser that matches your PAX wall exactly?

Skip the separate dresser. I cut the two middle PAX frames from 92⅞” down to about 48” with a mini circular saw, added a new MDF top attached from underneath with L-brackets, and filled them with drawers.

Same depth, same white, same lines as the rest of the wall.

Would you cut a brand new wardrobe in half?

Remember that awkward 6” ledge standing in the way of my mudroom plans? Here’s how I made it work! 👀

I brought the IKEA PAX wardrobes forward to clear the ledge, installed wood supports to secure everything in place, and added a custom side panel to hide the gap.

Problem solved! 🙌

Sometimes the biggest difference between standard cabinetry and custom-looking built-ins is how you work around the quirks of a space.

And this is just one piece of the project… full mudroom reveal coming next! 🤎

This home office had a LOT going on 😅

The goal? More storage, better organization, dedicated file storage—and make it all look GOOD.

Safe to say, we understood the assignment. 🙌
