Today was a wonderful day! We had the privilege of donating Anti-Ouch Pouches to bring a little extra comfort and care to breast cancer patients recovering from surgery. The Window Coverings Association of America, Atlanta chapter, donated time, fabric materials, expertise, and love to help cancer patients. We fabricated and created the special pouches that look like a purse or a pillow with a handle on it to give a little comfort to the women and men who just had breast surgery. These Anti Ouch Pouches were donated to Loving Arms Cancer Outreach
Janet Graham, the Executive Director of Loving Arms Cancer Research, is a kind and very caring person. She finds so many ways to help breast cancer patients. She is standing behind the chair. You will also see a picture of me standing with Pam Haston, who is our current WCAA Atlanta chapter President. Our WCAA group is proud to have fabricated and donated these Anti Ouch Pouches to cancer centers for many years.

We paid close attention to every detail! The baseboards are the same height as those in the main house, and we coordinated the countertop colors, quality wood cabinetry, flooring, and lighting to create a consistent look throughout. Even the window trim and decorative mouldings were designed to match those in the main house.
It's these little details that make such a big difference in the finished design!
When construction first began and the studs were going up, my clients planned to use this space strictly as a guest house. Since then, they have been considering using the bedroom as a multipurpose room that could also serve as a home office. The wonderful thing is that we planned the space so it could work beautifully either way!
I have really enjoyed working with my clients on this project and seeing all of our planning come together.
At another time, I look forward to showing you what we have done on the terrace level of their main home.

Welcome back to the Cottage house! I am giving you another tour of this section of the Cottage house that is located above the top of my clients three car garage. For this bathroom, my clients and I worked together to bring their ideas to life. They wanted the countertop and tile to match the look of the main house. The bathroom is designed for visiting guests—and it may also serve as a home office.

You may notice the shower door and faucet hardware are brushed nickel in color. We are creating the Carriage house and basement/terrace level at the same time. The contractor selected the wrong finish, so it will be changed. Even with that detail to correct, this bathroom room reflects the look my clients wanted. It’s very attractive and functional. There is one more section to this tour of the carriage house for you to see.

Welcome to the Carriage House! My clients and I have been working on this Carriage House/apartment that is located above their 3-car garage. They wanted to create a special private area for their guests who come to visit them from other states and other countries. They are also able to use this area as a home office too. My clients and I have been planning and designing the space for a little while now, and it's nice to see our plans come to life. Now, the next step is to select the furniture and the accessories to make this space feel like home. This video is just part one of a few videos to show off this special Carriage House. I love happy clients!

Thomas Edison invented in patented more than just the lightbulb. I enjoyed touring the Thomas Edison Museum. I really enjoyed the museum. Being creative and affecting other people’s lives in such a positive way is a very valuable thing for all of us to do!
