We currently have good quantities of supercool curly maple and ambrosia maple.

For those not familiar, these are conditions, not a type of wood. Curl (Tiger stripe, quilting, etc) normally occurs when a straight growing tree becomes bent leaving creases.

Ambrosia is when a tree is rounded by a foreign piece of material or insect. Often beetles- the tree has self defense properties that often make interesting color changes and shapes around the affected area. Tapped maple trees for syrup are also common Ambrosia causes.

We currently have a good selection of both CURLY and AMBROSIA maple at reasonable prices.

Curly maple $10 / board foot.

Ambrosia (wormy) red maple on sale for $5 / board foot.

A board foot is 12” x 12” x 1”.

Some cool hardwood tabletops recently put together - the customer will be finishing them with our Bat Oil for maximum brilliance and protection.

Lots of new live edge slabs just came out of the kiln and available at our storefront in Cochranton. We have over 100 slabs available for sale as well as KILN DRIED dimensional lumber.
