This is one piece that came out of the last couple months of being quiet on here.
I realized I was spending more time thinking about how to share the work than actually making it. Social media is a double-edged sword, it supports my business and helps get my work out there, but it was also pulling me away from the process.
So I stepped back and refocused on the studio for a bit.
More making. More painting. Less documenting.
This Rancho Arroyo Shale Bison is the result. Looking forward to sharing what I’ve been working on..

Happy first day of spring! Feels like the perfect time for a to this 2017 collaboration with my friends at . The incredible floral design was brought to life with hours of chain stitching, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Still one of my favorites! .
