Gate portion of my backyard project!!
Long time no post. I get it. However, “It's not the amount of breaths you take while anxiously waiting for me to post on the Professional Fencing page, it's about the posts that take your breath away"....or something like that, I don't know. Besides, if you're checking this page frequently I would advise putting your electronic device down, going outside, and getting some vitamin D. Much like we do while we gleefully build fence. (With the exception of when there's inclement weather, weekends, and holidays)
Anyways, my backyard project has felt like it has taken an eternity and I'm still not done (but close). However, since I live in my grandparents' old house, I wanted something unique for my backyard. I wanted the gates to give the yard a special pizzazz....Ya feel? I wanted something that exemplified fond memories of my childhood and a sanctuary for my kids, family, friends, and myself to enjoy Annnnd it all started with the gates. I collaborated with Tim Micek of Burnin’ Metal and the Clipboard for the gate portion of the project. I have nothing but good things to say about working with him and hope to do business again soon!
Tim was able to take my ideas and turn them into real life! If you're glued to your phone at the moment, you outta' whip on over to their page and give it a gander-if you didn't click on the link the first time you should Burnin’ Metal and the Clipboard! They used their CNC plasma table and were able to cut the gate designs out and I was able to weld the frames/latches and fabricate them into what they are now!-That being said, there is a reason you don’t see many gates with door latches and keypads. Possible, yes. But So. Much. Fabricating.
